Current Rakiura Maori Land Trust Projects
The Rakiura Maori Land Trust always has a number of Projects in progress and
this section will provide you with access to these various projects and their
associated information.
- Oneki (The Neck)

This project relates to the development of a Management Strategy
for Oneki (The Neck). This project was started in February 2007.
- Advisory Groups

This project relates to the development of focus and/or development
groups to help improve the input into the Trusts development activities
while also providing a stepping stone for those people who wish to move on
to become Trustee's of the future.
- Lords River

This project relates to the ongoing implementation associated with
Management Plan associated with the Lords River blocks of Land.
- National Park Plan - DOC

The Department of Conservation has started the process to Review
the Stewart Island Management Strategy and the development of a National
Park Plan. The Trust has undertaken to actively participate in this process
to protect it's interest in the islands future.
